Biographical Sketch
Dr. Mogens Bjerg Mogensen is Professor Department of Energy Conversion and Storage Solid State Electrochemistry Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He is a highly esteemed figure in the field of solid-state electrochemistry, particularly known for his work on electrode kinetics, reversible electrochemical cells, and the broader field of energy conversion and storage. He has authored more than 650 scientific papers, with over 390 of them published in internationally refereed journals and proceedings. His H-index (Web of science) is 75. Moreover, his influence extends beyond his own research as he has actively participated in numerous international conferences, delivering over 40 invited talks, including several as a keynote and plenary speaker. Professor Mogensen is Fellow of the Electrochemical Society and has been recognized with several honors, including the Christian Friedrich Schönbein Medal of Honour in 2008, the Science of Hydrogen & Energy Award in 2012, and the electrochemical ECS H-TEMP Outstanding Achievement Award in 2020. These accolades underscore his significant impact on the field of electrochemistry and sustainable energy.
